A note from the editor:
There are so many exciting developments coming up in the next month. And we have geared up in preparation. We are almost ready for the 2nd Annual Belleville Pride Event ( Metro East Pride). As we mentioned in our newsletter last mont, The Daniel McCree Foundation has secured its own space for this event.
MCCGSL SLAB CEREMONY~ JUNE 7th
As many of you know, Daniel was very active in several ministries at MCC of Greater St. Louis. On JUNE 7th (Sunday) we will commemorate a special ceremony to remember our loved ones, offer prayers in writing, or memories & well-wishes. Before the carpet is layed out in the new sanctuary, ALL ARE INVITED to join us, and write your thoughts and prayers on the concrete slab, as a time-capsule.
You don NOT need to be an MCC member to participate. It will begin immediatley following our 11:30AM Sunday worship until 2:30pm. at 1919 South Broadway, in Soulard.
Need more info: editor@danielmccree.org We can give you directions or caravan to the event with you.

If you are unable to make it to Belleville, we also have some of Daniels Artwork on display at the EMERSON PARK METROLINK, at the justBIZ offices. The Artwork will be on display until the friday before the Pride Event, and may be viewed Monday- Friday from 11AM to 7PM.
As the editor of DanielMcCree.Org, I have been amazed at how many monthly visitors we receive, and how Daniel's life continues to shape those who were close to him. This month offers several amazing opportunities to do participate in some of the good works we have accomplished over the past 2 years, in honor of our dear friend, Daniel.
Sincerely,
Colby Kluthe, editor - DanielMcCree.Org

Slab Ceremony June 7th - JOIN US!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 7th! The Slab Ceremony will take place immediately following the second service, and last until 2:30 pm. Colored markers will be available to write your thoughts, messages, names, scriptures, etc, on the altar floor area. While the sanctuary will remain a place of quiet reflection, the space outside of the building will be available for gathering and conversation. Throughout the ceremony, several church clergy, staff, and coordinators will be on hand to help guide the process. Come leave your mark on the legacy we are creating!
