This voluntary position would be responsible for public representation of the foundation at events in the St. Louis and Southern Illinois Region.
We are looking for someone who lives within the St. Louis area,is familiar with our foundation and its purpose as well as LGBT issues and organizations that serve Southern Illinois.
Requirements: Board members must be available by email and participate in the annual board meeting (December) The St. Louis Regional Director should be able to attend Metro East Pride in Belleville each June, and distribute the limited release of artwork during the event.
Other Opportunities include facilitating our sponsorship of charity organizations they are already involved with, and seek opportunities to expand our involvement in LGBT Community. The time requirement for this position is minimal, and for the right candidate would not require any additional time commitment beyond the involvement they already have in the community.
The Daniel McCree Foundation advocates for Suicide Prevention as well as outreach in the areas of HIV/AIDS awareness. Our Outreach projects include the Digital Directory and Monthly Publication of MetroEast NEWS as well as an ongoing dialog with those who have lost loved ones too soon.
