(including www.HopeandHelpCenter.org, www.MetroEastPride.com, as well as www.GayStLouis.com, and still others.

Looking back at the month of September, there were so many exciting developments, I would like to make brief mention of some of them. On September 21st, the MCCGSL chior participated in the How Sweet the Sound Contest, and had the opportunity to perform at the Scottrade Center (aka KEIL CENTER) before nearly 10,000 people. September 26th, marked the very special Grand Opening Celebration of the new facility at 1919 S. Broadway, followed by a very special worship service on the 27th. MCC of Greater St. Louis was blessed and honored to welcome Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson, as the Moderator of MCC, and appreciated her message of hope.

October events for METRO EAST PRIDE, included a special viewing of the film "The Bible tells me so", which addresses the state of Christianity and its relation to the LBGTIQ communities, and documents the damages that have occured as a result. October 10th, MEP will support the Interfaith Food Pantry, by participation in the "All you can eat Breakfast" at the Applebee's of Fairview Heights.

IF YOU WISH TO JOIN US ON OCT 10TH @ 8AM--

Updated Art Gallery

Recently the Art Gallery was refreshed, and few old peices brought back out.

As you visit, you will notice we have updated quite a bit over the past few weeks,

as you can image, there is much to go, with some pages that have not really changed

in more than 2 years. Primarily formerly featured video selections, and the individual Art Gallery pages.

In more important news, on September 11th, 2009, the Daniel McCree Foundation was

registered with the state of Illinois as a Charitable Trust. Our goal over the next few months is to name a Board of Directors, and recieve our tax exempt status as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Foundation.

We would like to hear from you if you would be interested in serving as a board member.

General duties would include meeting between 2 and 4 times a year. You do not need to live in the St. Louis area to serve. Some Local Board members have already been selected. However we would encourage anyone who feels compelled to do so, please contact us. editor@danielmccree.org

August 27th, 2009

We are preparing for the second phase of the "Jupiter Drops" Gallery which we expect to be available online by September 1st.

We are excited to bring you 5 or 6 more original works, never before seen. The above photo, entitled "Crimson Road", was among the newly debuted items brought out in July.

Be sure to stop by, and visit the new gallery and re-discover the older ones also.
Our monthly newsletter should be published on Monday/Tuesday of next week. Keep an eye out for that also.

Blessed be all who support our causes at DanielMcCree.Org It is you who make it all possible.

July 2009 Newsletter

www.DanielMcCree.Org

A Note from the Editor:

The month of July is always a spiritual marker at DanielMcCree.Org, as we reflect on the year past, and look towards what we may do in our community in the year ahead. For many of us, the month brings much anticipation, reflection, and down-right anxiety.

We have not yet published the SITE REPORTS, for the month, but I am happy to report that as of today, the Gallery has received 764 Visitors, and more than 1500 page views, in the month of JULY ALONE. As I began to think about the purpose of our development of Daniels online Art Gallery, I recently looked into how many visitors we have received in the past 2 years. (Site launch was July 29, 2007) And amazingly, since we began, we have shared the spirit of Daniel McCree with more than 6,500 unique visitors, from around the world. Our mission has remained unchanged since our sites launch~

"The mission of DanielMcCree.Org is to share with the world,
the creative works and spirit of Daniel McCree,
foster a dialogue for those who were moved by his life, while promoting the 7 Arts of Power: Literature ,Performing Art,Visual Art,Design Art,
Decorative Art, Technological Art and Spirituality"

I am proud to report, we have made great strides in this endeavor. Coming in AUGUST, we will be working with MCC of Greater St. Louis, to purchase Daniel a commemorative brick "Paver" or "Legacy Tile", which will be added to the entryway of the new church facility, and soon to be completed Chapel, at MCCGSL.

Anyone that would like to donate funds towards this effort are encouraged to do so. Contact me directly for instructions on how to donate~ editor@DanielMcCree.Org

$50- is the need for a Legacy Brick ( Main Entrance Paver)
$100 - is the need for a Legacy Tile (Chapel Wall location)

Donations must be recieved prior to August 1st, and may be made online using any Debit/Credit card or electronic check. All donations are gladly accepted.

Your help is needed to obtain both items in the memory of Daniel McCree, due to the recent expenditures of the foundation at Metro East Pride, we will only be able to secure a Legacy Brick without any additional funding.

Finally, if you have not managed to visit our newest Gallery Exhibit "Jupiter Drops", we invite you to visit, and enjoy several new peices we have added to our collection of original works.

We wish to take a moment to thank all of our visitors, and regular readers for all the support you have given us over the past two years. Together with your help, we have made a true Legacy for our dear friend Daniel, and continued towards the causes he held dear to his heart. Again, we could not have done it without the support of each of you! See you along the path...

Sincerely,
Colby
