His name has been added to the "HeartSong 2008" panel of the AIDS QUILT, which will be contributed to the Names Project in the coming weeks. This panel was exhibited on Nov 30th, during the 11:30 Services at MCCGSL.
December 1st, 2008 will mark the 20th anniversary of observing World AIDS Day.
Our beloved Daniel McCree will be remembered at observances throughout the city. On November 30th, MCCGSL will observe World AIDS Day, in conjunction with the Ezekiel Project minsitry. This observance includes a reading of Names from the MCC community, as well as an exhibit of a new panel for the AIDS QUILT.
On December 1st, at 7pm Christ Church Cathederal will host the World AIDS Day in St. Louis, including performances from the Gateway Mens Chorus. As well as a special time of remembrance and reading of names BEGINNING AT 6PM. We encourage everyone to attend! Daniel will be remembered as a part of this service as well.
As the editor of DanielMcCree.Org, I am proud to represent Daniel at these events, in remembrance of both the Hope and struggle that Daniel endured during his lifetime. As the Spirit of Daniel McCree lives on in each of us, he is also remembered by many others throughout our community worldwide.
